Elegant, agile and a prodigious leaper, the hare-footed impala can be found roaming the plains of south east Africa. The Impala is a member of the antelope family and is immediately recognizable by the slender lyre-shaped horns carried by males. The word Impala was given to the English language by the Zulu nation.
